DWM 406

March 5, 2009

DWM 406 is released today.

The main article is a feature about the spin-off show featuring the Daleks that almost aired in America in 1967. There is also a two-page interview with David Tennant about Comic Relief (he is hosting part of the Comic Relief telethon this year).

There are two more interviews in the magazine. The first is Gareth Roberts’ four-page interview, discussing his work on Doctor Who in the past, as well as on Planet of the Dead. The last interview takes the “Who on Earth Is…” spot, with Colin Baker.

There is also a two-page obituary to John Scott Martin; The Fact of Fiction: Logopolis; the first part of the comic strip Mortal Beloved; You Are Not Alone; and the Time Team looking at Remembrance of the Daleks.

One noticable difference was a removal of the cover page of The DWM Review section, instead moving the start of the first review and the main illustration to this page and having an abbrieviated contents at the bottom.
